| The reference photos used in creating the
portrait
The couple wanted their portrait to display them in their beloved
city - The Big Apple.
A 22X30 testament of their love. |

| An initial Sketch
This was done on an 8x5 piece of scrap paper. The client never saw it,
however it helped me see that the scene of the city needed to
complement the occasion. The viewer needed the feel of romance.

| The Final Composition
Through computer manipulation I beamed the couple
from 42nd St. to Central Park
near a beautiful bridge. The couple loved the change of scenery. (Note: This composition takes the best of both reference
photos above: the smile
of the husband from one and the intimate embrace of the other. Neat,
huh?)

The under painting of this portrait reflects a bit of the chaos that

The couple starts to emerge from the paper as I build upon the foundation.
